Green to Clean Services
Green to clean refers to the one-time cleanup of a pool when the pool is very dirty. This service is often required when a client is signing up for the first time. If the pool water is green and you cannot see the bottom of the pool, green to clean services will more than likely be required.
Green to clean services can include some or all of the following:
- Strong chemical dosage to sanitize the pool and balance the water chemistry
- Drain and Clean - This involves draining the pool of all water and adding fresh water. The walls need to be washed down with a pressure washer and liquid chlorine scrubbed on the walls to kill algae.
- - Drain and Clean with Acid Wash - This is the same as Drain and Clean with the extra step of washing the walls with muriatic acid. The muriatic acid will burn off a thin layer of the pool plaster, revealing a clean layer that is algae free and etching free.
